I guess this means I need to lower my expectations for said market, as non-cranky and non-leaky girls would have a significantly higher price due to low supply, whatever that may be.

While I appreciate your affirmative analysis, might I note people generally call me by my proper name, David, rather than Jeff.

It takes an act of God or a paycheck from United Airlines to get me out of my cozy bed in the middle of the night.... But one example of the former was during a meteorite shower which could be viewed from my own back yard (one of the highest, clearest spots on Oahu). I couldn't lie down on the grass due to the dew but I watched and watched until my neck ached and then stumbled inside to finish the second half of my night's sleep.
Well worth it.
Good on ya.

Jeff, as an armchair economist, I've done the analysis of supply and demand in the "cranky and leaking gas" female market and you should be happy to knoww that your prospects for finding a suitable equilibrium condition are good. In fact, I might be so bold as to suggest that, Mr. Lee, may well constitute the whole of the demand curve in this market.

Nicholas,

The amount of exposure really depends on the lighting situation and preference, but typically you should shoot either -2 -1 0 +1 +2 or from [-3, +3].

For this cookie, I just used three exposures... If I recall correctly, it was -2, 0 and 2.

Photoshop CS3 pretty much spoon feeds the compositing process to you. It really is simple. Just go file-->automate-->HDR or something like that. I have found that this photoshop process is not as good as using photomatix, but it is much simpler.

Photomatix is much faster at creating these images and they tend to have a better result, though more tweaking may be necessary.

Ok so how much should you over expose and under expose the first images to then make the composite images? I've tried HDR imaging before but I could never get it to work just right. please help! Also, how do you put the images together? I used CS3 because it had a feature boasting it could do this for me, but it was unsuccessful. Alas lastlee, I'm in need of your help. Please grace me with your wisdom and I will forever be in your debt.
